I remember i watched Volcano high, at the same time as i was "Resurrection of the Little Match Girl ", as a asort of korean movie night. The latter is a mad surreal story about a guy who get sucked into a game about the Little match girl (H.C. Andersen story): Pretty far out. At the moment i woul recommend Dragon Tiger gate as a decent martial art movie. I have seen Volcano high, but not Initial D.
